Internship: Technical Solution Engineer

Viking is a leading European workplace solutions company headquartered in Venlo. As part of the Purchasing & Assortment department, you will join the Pricing team, which builds competitive pricing approaches and ensures accurate online pricing across markets.

What to Expect During Your Internship

In this role, you will support the team by researching, designing, and implementing technical solutions that enhance pricing processes and improve the user experience. You will collaborate with stakeholders and managers on real projects, gaining hands‑on experience in a dynamic, international business setting.

Your Responsibilities

• Support the design, testing, and deployment of technical solutions
• Assist with system troubleshooting and maintain clear, structured documentation
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather and analyse requirements
• Help enhance internal tools and automation scripts to improve efficiency
• Conduct research on emerging technologies and propose process improvements

Your Profile

• 3rd or 4th year Bachelor student studying Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Basic understanding of networking, system architecture, or software development
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Proactive and communicative
• Eager to learn and collaborate in a dynamic environment
• Good spoken and written English skills
• Ideally some business knowledge
• Can work a minimum of 3 days a week from the office in Venlo
• Available full‑time from September 2026 for a duration of 5–6 months
