ING Nederland in Amsterdam offers an internship in the ERM Frameworks team within Enterprise Risk Management. You will gain hands-on experience in regulatory monitoring, mapping regulations to internal policies, and contributing to AI and GenAI initiatives for regulatory management.
As a student in data science, economics, finance, law or computer science, you will work with stakeholders, learn risk governance in a global bank, and develop data mapping and assessment skills.
The ERM Frameworks team is part of ING's Enterprise Risk Management department and plays a central role in shaping the bank's risk governance and regulatory framework. The team is responsible for maintaining the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, managing regulatory change and horizon scanning processes, and driving simplification and digitalisation initiatives across Risk.
We are looking for a curious and motivated intern who is passionate about regulations, data and emerging technologies. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a global banking environment while contributing to innovative RegTech and AI initiatives.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of Risk, Regulations, Data, and AI. You will be part of a highly collaborative team, gain insight into how a global bank manages regulatory change, and contribute to innovative initiatives that help shape the future of Risk management.
This is a great opportunity to train with highly skilled people who are experts in their field. You’ll do a lot and learn a lot – not only about your specialist area and the bank, but also about yourself and whether this type of environment is right for you.
During the duration of your internship at ING, it is mandatory to be enrolled at a Dutch university (or EU-university for EU passport holders).
Every year, more than 350 students join our internship program. While there are no guarantees about your future, many of our former interns move into a permanent role or onto our International Talent Programme (traineeship). Whatever happens, an internship at ING is the ideal opportunity to meet a wide variety of people, to build up your own network, and to learn about many different aspects of banking – put simply, it’s a great start to your career.
