Job summary

ING is offering an internship in the CREC team in the Netherlands. You will analyse the CREC model, learn workload-runtime relationships and identify bottlenecks while optimising batching, concurrency and resources. The role includes industry research and hands-on AI/data science tasks.

Ideal candidates are pursuing AI/ML/Data Science degrees, with strong analytical skills, Python proficiency, and an interest in credit risk modelling. Hybrid work and internship benefits are provided.

The team

The CREC team consist of Engineers, Product Owner and Model Developers and is working on implementing and maintaining the Credit Risk Economic Capital model which is used throughout the bank, using Agile Way of Work.

Currently pursuing a degree in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science or a related field. Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Proficiency in Python. Proficiency in Copilot and AI-use. Interest in (Credit Risk) Modelling. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
