Pacmed is offering an internship to quantify and visualize the impact of AI in healthcare. You will build intuitive dashboards that track product performance and user feedback in Dutch hospitals, working with data scientists, clinicians, and product managers.
The role is a full-time internship for at least 5 months with hybrid work in Amsterdam. You will gain guidance from a multidisciplinary team and contribute to real AI applications used in hospitals.
Pacmed deploys medical AI scalably and responsibly to make hospital care future-proof, starting with Intensive Care and Acute Care. Their AI decision support saves time for healthcare providers, optimizes capacity, and enables personalized IC care for all patients.
Join Pacmed as an intern to work on a project quantifying and visualizing the impact of AI in healthcare by creating intuitive dashboards that track product performance and user feedback in Dutch hospitals.
Do you want to help shape tomorrow’s healthcare with AI? At Pacmed, we combine technology and humanity to keep healthcare accessible and future-proof. With our AI software, we help use capacity more efficiently by predicting care demand based on real-time patient data.
Our mission? To help hospitals accelerate their care transformation and digitalization goals, so that every patient receives the right care at the right time.
We are a growing AI company with solutions running in multiple hospitals, and we are actively scaling further across the Netherlands.
During your internship, you will work on a concrete project aimed to make the impact of our AI products visible both internally and externally, which will play an important role to increase trust in our products and guide product development and adoption efforts. The goal is to make an intuitive dashboard that tracks the impact of our products real-time in an insightful way, e.g. by visualizing under- and overcapacity (which our products aim to reduce) over time, retrospectively visualizing optimal decisions against against actual decisions and decisions suggested by our products and making automatic overviews of user feedback and the frequency that users change their decisions based on our products.
At Pacmed, we think there is strength in diversity. Studies show that women and members of underrepresented communities apply for jobs only if they meet 100% of the qualifications. Building responsible AI requires diverse perspectives, equitable practices, and integrity every step of the way. This is our commitment.
