Job summary

Avery Dennison is offering a pricing intern role at its European Headquarters in the Netherlands. The internship runs for six months starting December 1, with a minimum commitment of three days on-site per week and two days work-from-home.

You will support pricing analysis, maintain price lists, and assist with pricing projects while gaining exposure to intercompany transfer pricing and monthly reporting.

Job description

As a pricing intern, you will be providing our team with key elements to make the best decisions. You will support the team to empower sales through your analysis and the front-end organization by maintaining our customer’s price lists, carrying out product switches, and customer mergers in the system. Additionally, you will provide vision & direction through monthly reports, tracking price erosion, evaluating projects renewability, and supporting the intercompany transfer pricing process. As a result of the internship, we expect you to improve existing processes through proactive and thorough analyses as well as contribute to ideas and project generation. This internship is scheduled to start on 1st of Decemberfor a duration of 6 months. The role requires a minimum commitment of 3 days per week on-site, with the flexibility to work from home 2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

This is a hybrid role based at our European Headquarters in Oegstgeest, requiring 3 days per week on-site and offering 2 days of work-from-home flexibility. Your main responsibilities will be:

• Conduct regular analyses with regards to the profitability of customers and products
• Evaluate current pricing structure and suggest possible improvements
• Active involvement with the sales and marketing team
• Maintain pricing systems and customer metadata
• Report on price development and segment trends

Qualifications

Required:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or any related studies at a Dutch university.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets (pivots, Vlookup, Index).
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to work in a changing and dynamic environment.
