Job summary

Job description

Internship – Packaging Procurement – Glass Bottles – July 2026

This internship offers an opportunity to join the Global Procurement Packaging Glass Team to support glass bottle sourcing and procurement for Europe’s largest beer group.

Responsibilities
  • Leading your own projects under the guidance of a mentor and conducting tender analysis.
  • Developing advanced cost models for creating transparency in all parts of the value chain.
  • Enhancing and creating the existing database of supplier pools and specifications to rationalise the portfolio.
  • Optimising the supply network and allocation to improve the bottom line of the business.
Qualifications
  • Passionate about packaging and able to engage with multiple stakeholders across different functions and work independently.
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills (please share relevant experience).
  • Highly assertive and results‑driven.
  • Open mindset and comfortable working with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
  • Preferred background in Engineering, Management, Supply Chain or Analytics.
  • Passionate about working independently and taking ownership of projects.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Eligibility and Practical Conditions
  • You are enrolled at an educational institution for the entire duration of your internship and can provide proof of enrollment for the current academic year during onboarding.
  • Non‑EU nationals must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.
  • EU nationals may be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
  • You must reside in the Netherlands for the entire duration of the internship. Housing is not provided.
  • You must possess a valid citizen service number (BSN).
Internship Conditions
  • A full‑time internship starting on July 1, 2026.
  • Duration of 6 months (to be agreed upon with your supervisor).
  • Home office will be located in Amsterdam.
  • Hybrid model: typically three days a week at the office and two days working from home.
  • Monthly internship allowance of €650 gross based on a 40‑hour workweek.
  • Earn 2 vacation days per month (full‑time internship).
  • Commuting costs are fully reimbursed if you do not have a public‑transport student subscription.
