Job summary

Viking Nederland invites a 5–6 month full-time internship starting February 2027 for a Merchandising & Product Marketing trainee. You will help shape product content, optimize catalogues, and support campaigns across online channels in a collaborative, international setting.

You will work with Purchasing & Assortment, BI, and Creative teams to learn how different functions drive commercial success and customer experience, gaining hands-on exposure and room to contribute and grow.

Qualifications

• 3rd-year Bachelor student in Marketing, International Business/Communication.
• Proactive, creative, and comfortable sharing ideas.
• Confident in approaching and collaborating with colleagues across teams.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Dutch or German is a plus.
• Available full-time from February 2027 for 5–6 months.

Responsibilities

• Support the Merchandising & Product Marketing team with ongoing projects and day-to-day activities.
• Review and optimize online catalogues to ensure products are presented and promoted effectively.
• Contribute to planning and execution of product-focused marketing campaigns.
• Assist in improving the customer journey by enhancing product visibility and overall user experience.

What To Expect During Your Internship

As a Merchandising & Product Marketing intern, you will support a team responsible for shaping how products appear, perform, and resonate across our online channels. You will help optimize product content, enhance visibility, and contribute to a smoother customer journey, directly influencing engagement and sales. Your work will involve close collaboration with teams such as Purchasing & Assortment, Business Intelligence, and Creative, giving you a broad understanding of how different functions drive commercial success. From analysing performance data to assisting with strategic promotions and exploring creative product placements, you will gain hands‑on experience in a dynamic environment where your ideas and insights can make a meaningful impact.

Your Responsibilities

Your profile

• You are a 3rd‑year Bachelor student in Marketing, International Business/Communication, or a related field
• You are proactive, creative, and comfortable sharing new ideas
• You are confident in approaching and collaborating with colleagues across teams
• You have excellent spoken and written English skills, Dutch or German is an advantage
• You are available full‑time from February 2027 for a duration of 5–6 months
