Job summary

Vanderlande in Veghel is offering an internship in Capability development & Service excellence within the Distribution Service Excellence team. Start date is February 2027 for a 6-month assignment, open to Bachelor students with strong interest in workforce development and capability management.

You will conduct research, engage stakeholders across regions, and analyze data to shape development actions and capability roadmaps that support long-term success.

Department description

You will join the Capability Management workstream within the Distribution Service Excellence team. Our team drives organizational performance, workforce growth, and operational readiness across Vanderlande's global Distribution Service network. We operate across four key areas: Service Operations & Support, Capability Management, Service Development, and Strategic Programs & Governance.

You will work in an international, supportive, and dynamic environment, collaborating with regional service organizations, operational leaders, digital solution experts, and training specialists worldwide. In this role, you will combine research, stakeholder engagement, and data analysis to directly influence how Vanderlande builds capabilities for long-term success.

Tasks/responsibilities

• Support capability maturity assessments and validate methodologies across international service teams.
• Facilitate stakeholder interviews and interactive workshops to gather qualitative insights.
• Collect, analyze, and evaluate pilot assessment data to identify critical skill gaps.
• Research best practices in capability management, learning frameworks, and organizational maturity.
• Translate research findings into practical development recommendations and improvement actions.
• Assist in refining assessment tooling, governance structures, and implementation roadmaps.
