Job summary

Quooker offers an Electronics Product Development internship in Ridderkerk, Netherlands. You’ll join the EPD team to work on hardware, firmware and software projects, with access to a fully equipped electronics lab and mentorship from senior engineers.

This internship includes a €600 gross monthly allowance, a laptop, and the option to work from home one day per week, plus opportunities for personal development in an international setting.

Qualifications

• You are an HBO/WO student in Electrical Engineering, Technical Informatics, or a similar program.
• You are independent in carrying out assignments and taking initiative.
• You have a technical hands-on mentality.
• Experience with Altium is a plus.
• Experience with C, C++, and Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Join the Electronics Product Development team within R&D and contribute to hardware, firmware and software development.

Your role at Quooker

This is what you’ll do as an intern Electrical Engineering/Computer Science and Engineering

As an Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and Engineering student, you’ll join our Electronics Product Development (EPD) team within R&D. We offer assignments in hardware, firmware and software development, often involving sensors, actuators, measurement and control systems, or communication protocols.

Together, we’ll shape an assignment that matches your interests and your programme’s requirements. Experienced colleagues in your field will guide you throughout your internship.

You’ll have access to our electronics lab for prototyping and testing, including soldering equipment, EMC measurement instruments, logic analysers and professional debuggers. The EPD team will be there to help you put your ideas into practice.

About Quooker’s Electronic Product Development team

During your internship, you’ll join the Electronics Product Development (EPD) team within R&D. EPD develops the hardware and software at the heart of Quooker products, from initial design through testing and certification. The team develops and tests solutions, with attention to safety, certifications and inspections. The team consists of around 30 colleagues with backgrounds in Electrical Engineering and Technical Computer Science.
