Job summary

Feadship zoekt een Intern Data Science & AI in Hoofddorp om te helpen bij het versnellen van analytische capaciteiten door AI en ML op operationele sensordata toe te passen. Binnen het Knowledge and Innovation-team werk je met real-world datasets van de Feadship-vloot, gericht op operationele data.

Als student krijg je begeleiding van ervaren collega's en de kans om aan een concrete use case binnen het bedrijf te werken, met een stagevergoeding van €650 per maand bij een 40-urige werkweek.

Qualifications

• Ingeschreven in een masterprogramma in een technische richting.
• Beschikt over programmeerervaring en eerder AI-modellen gebouwd/trainingservaring.
• Bekend met versiebeheer en samenwerkingstools zoals Git en GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Verken huidige AI-onderzoeken om veelbelovende benaderingen te identificeren.
• Ontwikkel en evalueer AI-modellen voor analyse van sensordata.
• Pas het werk toe op een praktisch gebruiksgeval binnen het bedrijf.

At De Voogt Naval Architects, we are responsible for the design, basic engineering, and all calculations required to build custom superyachts. We are the technical and creative heart of Feadship, and the home of all research and development.

Feadship builds the world’s most exclusive superyachts. Every day, we work on technically cutting-edge projects where innovation and custom design go hand in hand. The amount of available data from our fleet is growing rapidly, and so are the opportunities to generate valuable insights for design and engineering, through machine learning and AI.

Within our Knowledge and Innovation team, we are looking for a curious and analytically strong intern who wants to work with real datasets from our Feadship fleet, with a focus on operational sensor data. Together, we will explore how AI can accelerate the analysis of operational data from our fleet and strengthen our analytical capabilities.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Explore current research in AI to identify promising approaches.
• Help develop and evaluate AI models that could make the analysis of sensor data faster and more effective.
• Apply your work to a practical use case within the company.

Dit breng je mee

• You are enrolled in a master’s program (academic) in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Applied Physics, Systems and Control or a related technical field
• You currently reside and study in the Netherlands (must)
• You can reach Hoofddorp by public transport, due to limited parking space for cars
• You are analytical, self-motivated, and enjoy solving complex technical problems
• You have programming experience and have built and trained AI models from scratch
• You are familiar with version control and collaboration tools, such as Git and GitHub
• You are curious about developing and evaluating AI models for real-world technical data
