Job summary

PwC Netherlands in Amsterdam invites you to join our Corporate Finance M&A team as an internship starting January 2027 for three months. You will support deal teams across initiation to completion, learning valuation techniques and market research.

As an intern, you’ll develop presentations for opportunities, collaborate with colleagues, and gain exposure to live deals in a high-performance professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a master’s degree with above-average grades.
• Strong financial foundation and affinity for finance.
• Strong analytical and multitasking with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Good command of Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

Internship Corporate Finance M&A

Are you looking to kick-start your career in a transaction-driven environment? Then this Internship Corporate Finance M&A is for you. A career in our Corporate Finance practice will provide you the opportunity to take responsibility and have a steep learning curve through innovative and dynamic deal support from initiation to deal completion of sell- and buy-side transactions. Then, this is the perfect opportunity for you. We are looking for an intern to start in January 2027 for a duration of three months.

What you are going to do

At PwC every member of the organisation is part of our community of solvers. Hence, as an intern at the Corporate Finance practice of PwC, you will be regarded as a full member of the team and will support deal teams with including, but not limited to:

• Researching and evaluating company and market data using both proprietary PwC intel and data from external resources
• Applying various company valuation techniques and other financial analyses
• Developing presentations for potential business opportunities to win new mandates
• Provide support on live deals with your Corporate Finance colleagues
• Collaborate with PwC colleagues from other competencies within the broader Deals department
• Get familiar with the PwC way of working and establish a network of PwC professionals with deep roots in the world of corporate finance

Qualifications, capabilities and skills we require

• Currently pursuing a master’s degree (preferably in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or Econometrics or other technical study) with above-average grades
• Solid financial foundation and proven affinity with finance
• Strong analytical skills, demonstrated ability to work self-directed and in a team and ability to multitask on various assignments while keeping attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Good command of Dutch and English (both verbal and written)

Qualifications, capabilities and skills we prefer

• Previous experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity or similar
• Participation in extra-curricular activities such as exchange programmes, top-sports or student associations
