The marketing department of Damen Shipyards Group is based in Gorinchem, Netherlands and serves the entire Damen Shipyards Group and its subsidiaries and recognised brands. It is an exciting time to strengthen our marketing team. As an intern within the Content team you will play a role in further developing Damen as a brand within our sector and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Support the Traffic & Content Specialist in planning and coordinating content projects (photo, video, copy and visuals).
• Assist with project management tasks such as progress monitoring and deadline follow‑up.
• Check incoming briefings for completeness before production starts.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external creative suppliers such as designers, copywriters, photographers and videographers.
• Support production preparation and handover.
• Perform basic quality checks.
• Structure and archive content in the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
• Contribute ideas for improving creative workflows and content processes.

Qualifications / Skills

• Currently studying HBO or WO in Communications, Marketing, Creative Business, Commercial Economics or a media‑related degree.
• Interested in creative processes and able to translate them into tangible content productions.
• Organisationally strong, meticulous and structured.
• Proficient with digital tools, planning and workflows.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
