Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking an International Tax Manager to oversee the tax affairs of a designated region within the firm's international operations. You will work with regional finance leaders and the Central Tax Team to ensure compliant tax reporting, year-end accounting and risk management across borders.

Qualifications

• ACA, CTA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong understanding of corporate and international tax principles.
• Experience managing complex tax compliance and reporting obligations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and tax research skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capability.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Manage the tax affairs of entities within your allocated region.
• Ensure tax compliance obligations are delivered accurately and on time.
• Review and oversee tax computations, returns and payments.
• Lead and support international tax projects and business initiatives.
• Manage year-end tax accounting, provisions and reporting activities.
• Act as a key contact for external advisers and auditors.
• Support transfer pricing, group structure and cross-border tax matters.
• Monitor and manage tax risk across the business.
• Build strong relationships with finance teams and stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
• Mentor and support junior team members.
