Job summary

Youwe is seeking an Internal IT Manager to own and evolve our internal IT environment across international offices. You will lead the IT team, partner with the CTO, and translate direction into day-to-day operations, cloud migration, and scalable processes.

The role requires strong leadership, cloud/SaaS expertise, and security governance, with fluency in Dutch and English. This position offers flexible hours and hybrid work across multiple offices worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT operations, service delivery, or internal IT management.
• Experience leading teams and delivering improvements in a complex IT environment.
• Proven ability to manage hosting, MSPs, SLAs, contracts, and cost controls.
• Strong knowledge of cloud, SaaS, and modern workplace tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead the internal IT team and operational agenda across offices.
• Build and own a company-wide IT roadmap and backlog.
• Ensure reliable, secure, and user-friendly IT systems by addressing root causes.
• Manage IT suppliers, hosting partners, SLAs, and cost controls.
• Lead migration from on-prem to cloud/SaaS and harmonize IT landscape.
• Own IT budget, contracts, licenses, and monthly reporting to the COO.

As Internal IT Manager, you take ownership of our internal IT environment across our international offices, from workplace technology, cloud, and SaaS to suppliers, security, and service delivery. That includes AI: you choose the right tools, set clear rules for safe use and help every team get real value from them.

You will have real ownership of internal IT at Youwe. You will lead the team and the operational agenda, while partnering closely with the CTO, who sets technology direction and architecture standards.

Your job is to turn that direction into effective day-to-day operations and meaningful change. From roadmap and budget to cloud migration and landscape harmonization, you make sure internal IT becomes simpler, more secure, and ready to scale with a growing international organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the internal IT team, including Support Engineering and Functional Application Management, setting clear priorities and supporting performance and development;
• Build and deliver one company-wide internal IT roadmap, translating the needs of all offices into a prioritized backlog;
• Keep internal IT reliable, secure, and user-friendly by resolving incidents and addressing recurring issues at their root cause;
• Manage key IT suppliers and our hosting partner, steering on SLAs, service quality, capacity, escalations, and cost;
• Lead the move from remaining on-premise systems to cloud and SaaS, and harmonize the IT and SaaS landscape across offices;
• Own the internal IT budget, contracts, and licenses, and report monthly to the COO on availability, risks, and roadmap delivery.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT operations, IT service delivery, internal IT management, or a comparable role;
• Experience leading people, setting priorities, and delivering improvements in a complex IT environment;
• Proven experience managing hosting, managed-service, or other critical IT suppliers, including SLAs, contracts, and cost control;
• Solid knowledge of cloud, SaaS, and modern workplace technology, such as Microsoft 365, MDM, SSO, and MFA;
• Experience leading or coordinating IT migration, change, or transformation programs;
• Practical understanding of security and compliance, including IAM, access management, and incident management;
• Experience with enterprise AI tooling, governance;
• Professional fluency in spoken and written Dutch and English.

Nice-to-haves

• Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft 365, service management, or security certifications;
• Hands-on implementation experience with cloud or SaaS migrations;
• Strong understanding of DLP, identity, data classification and security implications of AI SaaS;
• Experience harmonizing IT and SaaS landscapes across multiple offices or countries;
• Experience with IT onboarding and offboarding, and audit-ready asset, license, and configuration records;
• Experience within a digital agency or fast-paced international environment.
