Job summary

Michael Page International (Netherlands) is seeking an experienced events professional to plan and execute medical congresses, trade shows, and educational programs across the EMEA region. You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Clinical Education, and external partners to deliver high-profile events that support business growth and customer engagement.

The role requires strong project management, stakeholder coordination, and attention to detail, with travel across Europe and a hybrid work

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Event Management, or related field.
  • Several years of experience in event management or similar roles.
  • Experience working within an international environment.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration.
  • Hands-on, proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute medical congresses, trade shows, educational programs, and customer events across the EMEA region.
  • Manage event logistics: venue coordination, registrations, travel arrangements, materials, and on-site support.
  • Liaise with congress organizers, professional associations, stakeholders, and external vendors.
  • Support planning of exhibition booths, product showcases, and promotional activities.
  • Manage event timelines, budgets, contracts, and supplier relationships.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with applicable industry regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Education teams to maximize event impact and customer engagement.
  • Coordinate the production, distribution, and management of marketing materials and event assets.
  • Maintain accurate event documentation, reporting, and administrative records.
  • Travel within Europe to support and oversee events on-site when required.
