Job summary

STICHD is seeking a proactive Sustainability intern at our headquarters in ’s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. You will work with the Sustainability Team and stakeholders to collect and validate environmental data and explore improvement opportunities across offices and supply chains.

This 4–6 month, full-time internship offers an €500 monthly allowance, lunches, fruit, and an international work environment while you learn about sustainability reporting standards and product sustainability topics.

Qualifications

• HBO or WO level studies, 2nd year or higher.
• Available full-time (32-40 hours).
• Minimum of 4 months, 6 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support collection and validation of environmental data from offices.
• Investigate and kickstart improvements on topics from environmental data results (waste management, electric mobility).
• Support collection and validation of supply chain environmental and social data.

Are you interested in improving sustainability within a business and do you have a good eye for detail? Then this position could be a great fit for you. You will work directly with our Sustainability Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, and will be involved in data collection and exciting sustainability projects on both social and environmental sustainability. You will learn about sustainability in the textile industry, sustainability reporting standards and regulations, and implementation of activities. The team drives sustainability initiatives within the global organization and is overviewing sustainability standards and certification, processes and reporting.**Your Mission*** Support the collection & validation of environmental data from our offices.* Investigate & kickstart improvements on selected topics from our offices’ environmental data results (waste management, electric mobility, etc.).* Support the collection & validation of supply chain environmental and social data.* Support on product sustainability topics; following up on 2026 material use results with the Product Team, overlooking material certifications, etc.**Your Talent*** HBO or WO level studies, 2nd year or higher;* You are available full-time (32-40 hours);* Minimum of 4 months, 6 months is preferred;* You are passionate about sustainability;* You enjoy working with multiple teams simultaneously;* Proficiency in English;* A go-getter with a sharp eye for details and perfectionist mentality;* Quick learner, eager to grow;* Self-starter, proactive, positive attitude;* Strong communication skills;* Ability to conduct research on sustainability topics and derive concrete and actionable findings and recommendations* Preference: knowledge of environmental or social aspects in sustainability and experience with supply chains and/or external partner communication. This internship is based in the Netherlands.
