Job summary

FrieslandCampina is offering a Packaging Specification Intern position at its R&D Center in Wageningen. You will support a dedicated project within the Packaging Specification Team, helping ensure accurate packaging information and compliance for products across global markets.

Ideal candidates are EU university students in Regulatory, Food Science, or Packaging Technology, available for at least six months, five days a week, with fluent English.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an EU university Bachelor or Master student in Regulatory, Food Science, Packaging technology or a related field.
  • Ideally available from a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week.
  • Excellent communication skills (fluent in English, both written and spoken).
  • Proactive and eager to learn and develop.
  • Detail-oriented and accurate.

Responsibilities

  • Support a specific internship project under guidance of the Packaging Specification Team in Wageningen.
  • Contribute to packaging compliance and maintaining packaging specifications across Europe, Asia, and beyond.
  • Assist with data management and regulatory initiatives within an international R&D environment.

As part of our Packaging Specification & Compliance team, you will contribute to ensuring that packaging information is accurate, up to date, and available to support our products across global markets.

What you will do

We offer you an interesting and educational internship where you will have the opportunity to discover your field. You will work on a specific project and support ongoing activities under the guidance of the Packaging Specification Team in Wageningen. The project will be determined between student and supervisor based on both actual activities within the team and your interest.You’ll have the opportunity to work on projects that support a wide range of products and brands, from assessing compliance with food contact and packaging legislation to maintaining packaging specifications and supporting regulatory initiatives across Europe, Asia, and beyond.Together, we will shape an internship project that matches your interests and development goals while contributing to meaningful business needs. Whether your passion lies in regulatory compliance, packaging legislation, sustainability, or data management, this internship offers valuable hands‑on experience within an international R&D environment.
