Job summary

ING Nederland offers a practical internship in Credit Risk Data Remediation, focusing on LGD data quality for model development. You’ll support LLM development, build dashboards, and gather data requirements for management reporting while engaging stakeholders across teams.

You will learn automation and data transformation techniques, work on migration and deployment of new systems, and receive training to maximize impact. Hybrid working and a 36-hour work week characterize the internship.

Responsibilities

• LLM development as part of the LGD Data Automation project.
• Gather and analyze data to identify needs and design management reports or dashboards.

• Assist in testing, migration and implementation of new systems and monitor automated processes post deployment.
• Train users on new tools and processes to ensure adoption.
• Contribute to development, maintenance and optimization of Data Remediation policies and guidelines.

The team

Credit Risk Data Remediation team ensures that the Default and LGD data is of appropriate quality for Model Development purposes. This is achieved through processing cashflow, facility and collateral data.

Credit Risk Data Remediation team ensures that the Default and LGD data is of appropriate quality for Model Development purposes. This is achieved through processing cashflow, facility and collateral data.

Roles And Responsibilities

The Intern will contribute to the team via the following dimensions:

• LLM development. Perform a key role in the LLM project of the LGD Data Automation team.
• Business analysis. Gather and analyze data to identify needs and recommend solutions. For example, design, create and develop management reports or dashboards based on information requirements of management.
• Engage stakeholders. Involve team members who will use the automated processes. Gather their input to ensure the solution meets their needs.
• Optimize and monitor. Assist in the testing, migration and implementation of new systems. After deployment, continuously monitor the automated processes. Collect feedback and performance data to identify areas for improvement.
• Train users. Provide training for team members on new tools and processes. This helps ensure smooth adoption and maximizes the benefits of automation.
• Participates and recommends on the development, maintenance and optimization of policies and guidelines within Data Remediation.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.

• Demonstrated leadership in work and/or academics
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact comfortably at all levels of the organization including with senior level leaders
• Expertise on automation and data transformation tools. For example, macros of Microsoft Excel, SQL or SAS programming, among others.
• Good project management skills with clear roll‑out plans

• Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
