Job summary

TNO is offering an internship to help evolve a mobile 3D scanning setup into a robust, user-friendly, and transferable system. You will analyze the interaction of hardware, software, networks, and storage, then design improvements and a coherent workflow for operation, data handling, and recovery.

You will gain hands-on experience in system administration, automation, and technical documentation while collaborating with researchers and future users.

Qualifications

• Practical and independent student with a background in Computer Science, ICT, or a comparable technical degree program.
• Basic knowledge of system administration, computer networks, servers, and data storage is helpful.
• Willingness to learn and quickly familiarise with new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Map current hardware, software, networks, servers and storage to see how they work together.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and develop suitable solutions.
• Design and validate a practical management and handover concept for operating the mobile setup.
