Job summary

Stryker Group in Amsterdam is seeking a motivated Finance Intern to join the Flex Financial team, supporting cross‑regional activities across 15 European countries and gaining hands‑on experience in finance, contract administration and equipment financing.

You will assist with daily financial processes, collaborate with Sales, Legal and Finance, and help prepare credit agreements, financing contracts and reviews of contract clauses in a multilingual, international environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a European university; pursuing Finance/Business/Economics
• EU working rights required
• Available for 6–12 month internship
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and willingness to improve
• Fluent in English
• Positive attitude and good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support the Flex Financial team with daily finance and contract-related tasks across multiple European countries
• Assist with the preparation and review of financial deals using internal tools
• Help prepare credit agreements and financing contracts, ensuring documents are accurate and complete
• Coordinate with Legal teams to validate contract clauses and follow guidelines
• Assist with contract lifecycle activities including document creation and activation support
• Collaborate with Sales to provide administrative and financial support
• Assist with credit check preparation and financial analysis with partner institutions
• Monitor signed contracts and identify missing information for proper follow-up
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our Flex Financial team, supporting cross-regional finance activities across the European countries we operate in. This internship is designed for a student who is eager to gain hands-on experience in finance, contract administration and equipment financing solutions in an international environment covering 15 countries. In this role, you will support the team with day-to-day financial processes, work closely with Sales, Legal and Finance teams, and learn how we help deliver seamless and compliant customer experiences across Europe.

What you will do:

• Support the Flex Financial team with daily finance and contract-related tasks across multiple European countries
• Assist with the preparation and review of financial deals using internal tools
• Help prepare credit agreements and financing contracts, ensuring documents are accurate and complete
• Support coordination with Legal teams to validate contract clauses and follow internal guidelines
• Assist with contract lifecycle activities, including document creation, activation support and documentation management
• Collaborate with Sales teams by providing administrative and financial support under guidance from the team
• Assist with credit check preparation and help build financial cases in collaboration with partner financial institutions
• Monitor signed contracts, help identify missing information and support proper follow-up
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives by sharing observations and supporting practical improvements

Essential Requirements

• You are enrolled at a European university, studying towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field for the duration of the Internship.

• NOTE: EU working rights are required

• Available for an internship (min. 6 months, potentially 9-12 months) and eager to gain practical experience in finance and financial analysis

• Good analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and willingness to further develop these skills

• Organized, curious and comfortable working with processes and structured information

• Fluent in English

• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and good communication skills

Preferred Requirements

• Interest in contracts, legal documentation, finance operations or commercial processes
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Oracle, Power BI or willingness to learn new systems
• Interest in working with sales, finance or customer-facing teams in an international environment
• 2nd European language

Netherlands Pay Ranges:

• Netherlands: €1,000 monthly allowance
