Job summary

Marktlink Fusies & Overnames B.V. is seeking an Interim Rewards Specialist to build scalable reward frameworks as part of our growing European footprint.

You will work closely with the CHRO, HR Operations, Finance and the Policy & Rewards team to align local policies with global standards. You will support the salary review cycle, draft and maintain HR policies and country playbooks, and lead the setup of a scalable policy framework across markets.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, HR Policy or a closely related field.
• Proven track record drafting policies, reward plans and governance documentation that people actually use.

• Draft, update and maintain HR policies, reward plans and country playbooks.
• Build a structured system for all policy, practice and country-specific information.
• Lead the set-up of a scalable policy and country framework.
• Support the opening of new offices and countries by translating Marktlink's reward philosophy into practical, locally usable frameworks.
• Work with Finance, HR Operations and external advisors on payroll, benefits and reward implications.
• Turn external advice and local input into clear, business-friendly recommendations.

Your goal

Marktlink is growing fast across Europe, and our people related frameworks and country set-ups need to keep up with the pace. As our Interim Rewards Specialist, you step in where execution power matters most: you build practical, scalable frameworks, bring structure to a growing international landscape, and make sure our policies and rewarding are consistent. You work closely with the CHRO, HR Operations, Finance and of course the Policy & Rewards team.

Requirements

Your profile

• 8+ years of experience in Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, HR Policy or a closely related field;
• Proven track record drafting policies, reward plans and governance documentation that people actually use;
• Background in financial services, professional services, private equity or another fast-moving, regulated environment is a strong plus;
• Experience supporting international growth;
• You work independently and bring structure fast;
• Excellent written English with a sharp eye for accuracy, consistency and readability; Dutch is a strong plus;
• Available for four or five days a week for an initial period of around six months.
