Job summary

Amoria Bond is seeking an experienced Interim CISO to strengthen the information security strategy across two municipalities. This role involves implementing security policies and acting as a strategic advisor to management on all cybersecurity matters.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive CISO experience in the public sector, strong knowledge of essential cybersecurity frameworks, and relevant professional certifications. This position requires a proactive approach and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience working as a CISO within the public sector.
• Strong knowledge of NIS2 / Cybersecurity Act (Cbw), BIO 2.0, ISO27001, NIST, GDPR, and ENSIA frameworks.
• Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and continuously improve the organization’s information security strategy and policies.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on cybersecurity risks, governance, and compliance matters.
• Ensure adherence to security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements across internal teams and external suppliers.
