Operating at the intersection of cutting-edge materials science and scalable manufacturing, they are entering a critical growth phase: moving from proof of concept to pilot production. This is a hands-on, high-impact interim assignment for someone who has done this before and knows what it takes to make technology manufacturable. Open to candidates willing to relocate, including from elsewhere in Europe.
Groningen, the Netherlands
Duration: approx. 12 months | Minimum 3 days per week
As Interim Senior Process Engineer, you play a key role in scaling proprietary sensor technology from lab-scale development to wafer-level pilot production. You bridge R&D and manufacturing, translating research processes into stable, reproducible and manufacturable process flows. This is not a research or academic role — the team is looking for someone who brings real industrial production experience and knows how to build a product, not just develop one.
A big part of your time is hands-on: wafer-level processing, process development and stabilisation. The remainder involves supplier alignment and contributing to the further buildout of the production setup and team.
