Job summary

Enza Zaden is seeking an Interim Global Manager Supply Planning to lead end-to-end supply planning for the Open Field Business Dynamic, shaping strategic plans and translating them into tactical and operational actions across crops and segments.

You will guide cross-functional teams, build planning capabilities, and drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes, reporting to the VP Supply Chain within the Business Dynamic team.

Qualifications

• University degree in Supply chain management, Business Administration or Engineering.
• Hands on experience in working with cross functional teams and leading your own team.
• Experience with complex stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication skills, proficient in English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end supply planning for the Open Field Business Dynamic.
• Drive the S&OP process in alignment with Marketing and Sales, Demand Planning, Portfolio Management, R&D and Production.
• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop the team to achieve optimal performance and goal alignment.
• Set up and continuously improve planning processes and workflows.
• Drive the implementation of advanced planning systems, including long-term planning, inventory management, product quality management and order flow management.

Interim Global Manager Supply Planning

As Interim Global Manager Supply Planning, you will lead the global end-to-endsupply planning, shape and realize our business strategy, build strong capabilities and processes and lead a high-performing team. In doing so, you strengthen our global supply chain and support our purpose: Breeding to feed the world—delivering over 1,200 vegetable varieties worldwide within a collaborative, entrepreneurial family culture.

Scope and Responsibilities

You are responsible for the end-to-end supply planning for the Open Field Business Dynamic. This means ensuring a strategic supply plan, including translation to and execution of a tactical and operational plan for all the crops and underlying crop segments to realize the Business Dynamics goals and objectives. You will lead the S&OP process in close alignment with Marketing and Sales, Demand Planning, Portfolio Management, R&D and Production.

In this role, your work will include:

• A high degree of cross functional leadership;

• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop the team to achieve optimal performance and goal alignment;
• Play a key role in building and expanding end-to-end planning capabilities;
• Set up and continuously improve planning processes and workflows;
• Drive the implementation of advanced planning systems, including long-term planning, inventory management, product quality management and order flow management.

You will be reporting to the VP Supply Chain and actively contribute within the Business Dynamic team.

What you bring as Interim Professional

As Interim Global Manager Supply Planning you bring excellent leadership skills and know how to effectively lead, motivate and coach a team. Your analytical mindset enables you to interpret and work with large data sets, helping you to anticipate challenges and solve complex problems. You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, ensuring efficient planning processes and continuous improvement across the supply chain. In addition, you have:

• University degree in Supply chain management, Business Administration or Engineering 12 or more years of experience in a similar role;
• Hands on experience in working with cross functional teams and leading your own team;
• Experience with complex stakeholder management;
• Excellent communication skills, proficient in English and Dutch.

• A gross monthly salary between € €7,774.05 and €11,105.78, based on a full-time workweek of 38 hours and aligned with your knowledge and experience;
• 8.33% vacation allowance and an attractive annual bonus program of 15% of your annual salary, depending on your job level and company performance;
• 25 vacation days, the option to purchase additional vacation days, and one paid vitality day per year, with extra vacation days granted as you get older;
• A laptop and mobile phone provided by Enza Zaden;
• A contribution toward overnight accommodation costs if you live farther away from Enza Zaden. This program applies to employees working for Enza Zaden in the Netherlands whose one-way commute exceeds 100 kilometers and 75 minutes;
• An attractive retirement plan, commuting reimbursement if you live more than 10 kilometers from your workplace and a remote work allowance when working partly from home in consultation with your manager;
