Job summary

Hillebrand Gori – a company of DHL Global Forwarding, Haarlem, is expanding its software development team with an Integration Developer. You will join a 45-person department covering analysis, development, and testing to build in-house, business-driven applications.

The architecture is API-first, cloud-native, centered on Microsoft Azure and Apigee, with BizTalk as the main integration platform. You translate business requirements into robust, secure software and design integrations across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Informatics or IT-related field.
• Proven experience as an integration developer.
• Experience with Microsoft BizTalk and/or Azure integration services.
• Experience with EDI (X12, EDIFACT), XML, and JSON integrations.
• Strong knowledge of integration patterns (Pub/Sub, Scatter-Gather, Split/Aggregate).
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Very good command of English (spoken and written).
• Currently living in The Netherlands within commuting distance of Haarlem.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement integrations between internal systems and external partners using message-based patterns.
• Work with industry-standard integration formats such as EDI (X12, EDIFACT), XML, and JSON to enable seamless B2B communication
• Develop integration components such as schemas, mappings, pipelines, and orchestrations in BizTalk and Azure services
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Write and maintain technical documentation
