Job summary
Air Products is seeking a Maintenance Engineer Instrumentation to ensure reliability, availability, and safety of instrumentation across Rotterdam facilities. You will collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to optimize plant performance and drive continuous improvement.
The role requires a degree in instrumentation/electrical engineering or control systems, experience in process industries, and proficiency in RCA/RCM methods.
Qualifications
- Degree in instrumentation, electrical engineering, or control systems.
- Experience with industrial instrumentation and maintenance engineering in a process industry.
- Knowledge of RCA/RCM/FMECA/RBI methodologies.
- Experience with SAP or CMMS for equipment records.
Responsibilities
- Lead preventive and corrective maintenance for instrumentation and analytical systems.
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement solutions to improve reliability.
- Drive reliability improvements using RCA, RCM, and related methodologies.
- Develop maintenance scopes and support budgeting and prioritisation.
- Provide instrumentation expertise during plant modifications and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and management of change requirements.
- Maintain accurate equipment records and documentation in SAP.
- Act as technical advisor to operations and maintenance teams.
