Job summary

International School Delft is seeking a Cover Teacher for Physical Education (0.8 FTE) to teach across the Primary School from Early Years to Upper Primary. Start date 1 January 2027, with discussion for earlier start.

The role includes planning, delivery, and assessment of the PSPE curriculum and promotion of wellbeing. You will work with a PE Teaching Assistant on several days, using on-site and TU Delft facilities, in an international IB World School environment.

Qualifications

• Teaching staff should have a teaching qualification recognised by the Dutch authorities, or eligibility for recognition.
• Qualification and/or experience in Physical Education teaching.
• Experience working with primary-aged children.
• Experience in international education or IB schools is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Teach PE lessons across the Primary School, from Early Years to Upper Primary.
• Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate physical education programmes.
• Plan, deliver and assess PSPE curriculum (Personal, Social and Physical Education).
• Promote student wellbeing and healthy lifestyles.
• Utilise on-site facilities and TU Delft sports facilities; collaborate with staff.
