Job summary

The European School The Hague in the Netherlands invites applications for a Teacher of PE on a temporary cover contract. You will deliver engaging PE lessons for ages 11–15, following the European Baccalaureate curriculum, and foster an inclusive, active learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education (or equivalent).
• Fully qualified teacher status for secondary education, recognized in the country where the qualification was obtained.
• Proficiency in English at a C2 level (CEFR).
• Experience teaching students aged 11–18.
• Willing to take on necessary organizational tasks (camps, coach, sports days) to fulfill departmental needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging PE lessons to students aged 11-15, following the European Baccalaureate curriculum.
• Inspire and engage your students in PE.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment where every student’s talent is nurtured.
• Collaborate with a team of educators to support a thriving PE program.
• Willing to take on organizational tasks (camps/sports days/tournaments) to fulfill departmental needs.
