Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics is seeking an experienced inside sales professional for airfreight in our healthcare logistics team. You will proactively contact Dutch customers by phone and email, process requests into tailor-made quotes, and maintain close contact with international colleagues.

Ideal candidates have HBO level education, 5+ years in freight forwarding (export airfreight preferred), and strong Dutch and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• HBO level of working and thinking.
• At least 5 years of work experience in freight forwarding, preferably in export airfreight.
• Experience managing or supervising colleagues in an operational environment.
• Good command of spoken and written Dutch and English.

Overview

A growing commercial airfreight team within healthcare logistics. Together with your colleagues, you proactively handle requests from existing customers and international colleagues, quickly process these into a tailor‑made quotation, and maintain close contact with customers.

Responsibilities

You are a customer‑focused inside sales airfreight professional who proactively contacts customers in the Netherlands by telephone and email. You also maintain contact with international colleagues who require airfreight rates. You process requests, prepare quotations and quotes in the internal system, and proactively pass on new leads to Outside Sales.

In this commercial role it is important that you are enterprising, do not shy away from challenges, and have an interest in and knowledge of air freight. You are a professional discussion partner for clients and colleagues, and possess positive energy and excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English. Knowledge and experience of airfreight and Incoterms are essential.
