Job summary

ABN AMRO Bank N.V. is seeking an Innovation Manager Digital Assets to identify, assess and develop opportunities in the rapidly evolving Digital Assets landscape.

You will follow developments in tokenisation, blockchain and crypto-assets, contribute to strategy, and research market regulations to drive new products and client propositions. You will collaborate with business, product, tech, legal, risk and operations teams to translate complex topics into actionable recommendations and business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant business, financial, technical or economic discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Relevant experience in Digital Assets, blockchain, crypto-assets, financial technology, capital markets, consulting or related field.
• Demonstrable knowledge of tokenisation, blockchain technology, crypto-assets and broader Digital Assets ecosystem.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

We are looking for Digital Assets professionals first and innovation managers second. You bring knowledge of the digital asset ecosystem and are excited about translating market developments into real business opportunities for the bank and its clients.

Your job

As Innovation Manager Digital Assets, you will help identify, assess and develop opportunities across the rapidly evolving Digital Assets landscape.

You will:

• Follow developments in tokenisation, blockchain technology, crypto-assets, stablecoins and digital market infrastructure.
• Contribute to the development and execution of ABN AMRO's Digital Assets strategy.
• Research market developments, technologies, regulations and emerging business models.
• Identify opportunities for new products, services and capabilities across the Digital Assets domain.
• Develop business cases, project proposals and investment recommendations.
• Work closely with stakeholders across business, product, technology, legal, risk and operations teams.
• Support the development of proofs-of-concept, pilots and new client propositions.
• Build relationships with participants in the Digital Assets ecosystem, including technology providers, market infrastructures, fintechs and other industry partners.
• Translate complex Digital Assets topics into practical insights and actionable recommendations.

Working environment

You will be part of the Digital Assets team within the Innovation department of ABN AMRO. Innovation plays a central role in delivering the bank's innovation agenda in close collaboration with business units and functional domains.

Our Digital Assets team is dedicated to developing innovative business models in areas such as tokenised securities, crypto-assets and stablecoins. We work across institutional and retail opportunities, combining strategic thinking, market expertise and hands-on experimentation to bring new capabilities and propositions to life.

Within Innovation, we take ownership, stay ahead of market developments, challenge the status quo and continuously explore emerging technologies and business models.

Your profile

We are looking for ambitious professionals with a strong interest in Digital Assets and a desire to help shape the future of financial services.

You bring:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant business, financial, technical or economic discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Relevant experience in Digital Assets, blockchain, crypto-assets, financial technology, capital markets, consulting or a related field.
• Demonstrable knowledge of tokenisation, blockchain technology, crypto-assets and the broader Digital Assets ecosystem. This is a mandatory requirement.
• The ability to analyse markets, technologies and business opportunities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and a curiosity for emerging technologies and business models.
• The ability to translate complex topics into clear recommendations and business opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

The exact seniority level and compensation package will depend on your experience, expertise and demonstrated level of autonomy during the recruitment process.
