Job summary

Philips Image Guided Therapy Systems in Best, the Netherlands, seeks a Digitalization of Innovation Lead to drive a data‑driven, AI‑enabled R&D transformation that connects people, processes, and technologies across the product lifecycle to accelerate life‑saving medical device development.

You will define and operationalize a common innovation data model, build a seamless digital thread, embed digitalization in governance, and partner with R&D Excellence, Quality, PMO, and product teams to turn

Qualifications

Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management, Data Science, or a related field.
10+ years leading large-scale digitalization, data, or business transformation initiatives.
Proven ability to translate data models or digital strategies into practical solutions embedded in tools and processes.
Strong program and project leadership experience in complex product development.
Ability to drive organizational change and adoption at scale.
Experience influencing diverse stakeholders, including senior R&D leaders and cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Passion for leveraging AI and data to improve innovation outcomes.
Experience leading enterprise transformation programs (nice to have).
Experience in medical devices or highly regulated industries (nice to have).
Knowledge of digital thread, PLM, model-based engineering, lifecycle management (nice to have).
Experience developing maturity models, KPI frameworks, or operational excellence programs (nice to have).

Responsibilities

Lead the Digitalization of Innovation program from strategy and roadmap to execution and adoption.
Define and operationalize a common innovation and product lifecycle data model across R&D.
Build and scale a seamless digital thread that connects data, decisions, and activities across the product lifecycle.
Embed digitalization, data‑driven practices, and AI‑enabled capabilities into product development processes and governance.
Drive adoption of digitalization maturity models and KPIs, ensuring measurable progress across teams.
Partner closely with R&D Excellence, PMO, Quality, and product development teams to align capabilities, tools, and ways of working.
Influence and align stakeholders across business units and disciplines to turn strategy into sustainable practice.
Coach teams and leaders to strengthen digital capabilities and accelerate organizational adoption.
