Job summary

Darwin Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Service Specialist to join the service team in the Netherlands. The role covers maintenance, refurbishment, assembly, and testing of industrial valve systems and related mechanical components at both workshop and customer sites.

You will ensure equipment safety, documentation, and quality standards while working with colleagues and clients in a dynamic field service environment.

Qualifications

• Vocational qualification in mechanical engineering, mechanical technology, automotive mechanics, or related field.
• Experience servicing industrial machinery and flow-control equipment.
• Knowledge of valve systems and safety-related equipment is a plus.
• Proficiency with service documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, repair, and refurbish industrial flow-control equipment.
• Carry out functional testing and calibration checks.
• Operate workshop machinery and perform mechanical machining tasks.
• Install, dismantle, and maintain equipment at customer sites.
• Document work and maintain service records.
• Communicate technical findings and recommendations to customers.
