Job summary

Tecwave B.V. is seeking an Industrial Electrician to join projects in the Venlo region of the Netherlands.

You will install and commission electrical systems, control panels, and instrumentation for diverse industrial clients, with opportunities to work independently or with senior engineers. Relocation to the Netherlands is provided, housing and a company car with fuel card are offered, along with long-term assignments.

Qualifications

Completed college degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical discipline.
Knowledge of and/or experience in industrial automation, machine building, manufacturing or process industries.
Strong technical insight and the ability to work independently.
Good communication skills (GOOD ENGLISH) and a proactive attitude.
Having a driving license is mandatory.
Willing to relocate to The Netherlands for the long term.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Installing, wiring and connecting electrical installations, control systems, PLC cabinets, control panels and MCCs (Motor Control Centres).
Installing and connecting industrial machinery, conveyor systems, pumps, electric motors, compressors, valves and other equipment within the process, food and water treatment industries.
Installing and connecting sensors, flow meters, pressure, temperature and level transmitters, control valves and other field instrumentation.
Installing, routing, terminating and testing power, control and instrumentation cables, including cable trays, conduits, cable glands and industrial cable systems.
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, P&IDs and loop diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
Performing testing, fault finding and commissioning of industrial electrical installations and automation systems.
Working on installations controlled by PLC, SCADA and DCS systems.
Ensuring all work is carried out safely in accordance with applicable safety regulations, quality standards and ATEX requirements.
Coordinating with project managers, engineers and clients regarding project progress and resolving technical challenges.
Supervising junior electricians and BBL apprentices when required, while contributing to the safe, efficient and high-quality execution of projects.
