Job summary

Ball Corporation seeks a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician for our Netherlands manufacturing facility. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing electrical systems, programming PLCs (Rockwell preferred), and upgrading equipment to improve efficiency. You will ensure NFPA 70E safety compliance and document schematics and logs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Secondary education diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant technical qualification in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Electrical System Maintenance and Repair: Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems (24V-600V), including motors, VFDs, sensors, and control panels.
• PLC and Automation Support: Program and troubleshoot PLC systems (Rockwell preferred) and ensure integration with production equipment.
• Equipment Installation and Upgrades: Perform electrical installations and system improvements to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.
• Safety Compliance: Work in accordance with NFPA 70E standards and safety procedures, implementing corrective actions.
• Technical Documentation: Maintain electrical schematics and daily log records (hard copy and AutoCAD).
• Collaboration and Communication: Work across shifts and departments with clear communication on electrical issues and solutions.
• Training and Development: Participate in On-the-Job Training and contribute to skills development.

General Profile

• PLC and Automation Support Program and troubleshoot PLC systems (preferably Rockwell) and ensure seamless integration with production equipment.
• Equipment Installation and Upgrades Perform electrical installations and system improvements to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.
• Safety Compliance Work in accordance with NFPA 70E standards and company safety procedures, implementing corrective actions where required.
• Technical Documentation Maintain accurate documentation, including electrical schematics (both hard copy and AutoCAD) and daily log records.
• Collaboration and Communication Work effectively across shifts and departments, ensuring clear communication regarding electrical issues and solutions.
• Training and Development Participate in On-the-Job Training (OJT) programmes and contribute to skills development within production and maintenance teams.

What Ball Offers

Work Environment

This position requires full-time on-site presence at our manufacturing facility.

Starting Salary

From EUR 3,500 gross per month. The final salary will be determined based on the minimum salary under the applicable collective labour agreement, the candidate’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as internal equity and market benchmarks.
