Planet Awesome Nijmegen seeks an independent working cook to craft diverse dishes in a fast-paced, playful kitchen environment. You will follow clear recipes, develop new dishes and maintain HACCP-compliant hygiene and safety standards daily.

Qualifications

• Completed cooking education (level 3) or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
• Knowledge of HACCP guidelines and practices.
• Creative, positive work ethic and passion for cooking.
• Flexible to evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Independently preparing and formatting various dishes according to recipe and schedule
• Developing new dishes and improving existing recipes
• Ensuring hygiene and safety in the kitchen, according to HACCP standards
• Monitor stock, prepare orders and coordinate with the head chef
• Ensuring a clean and organized kitchen
• Working with the team to keep service running smoothly, including during peak hours and large groups
