Responsibilities
  • Act as contact person for the disclosure of all financial statements of the Group companies, including individual IFRS topics
  • Participate in the documentation and design of internal processes in connection with Group-wide accounting
  • Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements at group level, including consolidation on IFRS
  • Contribute to the design, maintenance, and further development of Group accounting policies according to IFRS and HGB
  • Prepare subsections of the notes and financial data in financial publications
  • Implement and determine IFRS adjustments (including accounting instructions)
  • Complete project-related tasks
  • Ensure statutory disclosure of the annual financial statements of the Group companies
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally in the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA and other finance-related projects
Qualifications
  • Academic degree with a focus on business administration, accounting and finance, or comparable completed training
  • Several years of professional experience in group accounting or audit, ideally within a bank or financial institution
  • Knowledge of common consolidation software (e.g. LucaNet or Group Reporting from SAP S/4 Hana)
  • Deep knowledge of IFRS, especially IFRS 9 and 18; HGB is a plus
  • Confident handling of MS Office and IT systems (Jira, Confluence, Office, etc.)
  • Very good written and spoken English; German is a plus
  • High integrity and reliability
