Job summary

Rivers International School Arnhem is seeking a Physical Education Teacher to cover a temporary absence. You will teach PE to MYP and lower HAVO classes, planning engaging lessons that build physical skills and teamwork.

Qualifications

• A recognised teaching qualification in Physical Education.
• Native or near-native English proficiency.
• Experience with the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) is highly desirable.
• An open and flexible attitude, with an appreciation for cultural diversity and the ability to connect with students from a wide range of backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Teach Physical Education to students in the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP; lower years of HAVO).
• Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons that encourage students to develop their physical skills, teamwork and confidence.
• Create a safe and inclusive learning environment where students of different abilities and backgrounds feel encouraged to participate.
• Support students in developing a positive attitude towards physical activity, healthy lifestyles and teamwork.
• Collaborate with colleagues in an international school community to support students’ learning and development.
