Job summary

A leading technology provider is seeking a Hydrographic Technical Support Consultant in Eindhoven, Netherlands. The role involves delivering technical support, conducting client training, and managing hydrographic data. Ideal candidates should have a degree or experience in hydrography, proficiency in Python, and excellent communication skills. Willingness to travel internationally is required, along with familiarity with AWS and related technologies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hydrographic surveys is acceptable.
• Willingness for international travel (around 25-30%).
• Knowledge of a second language is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Offer frontline technical assistance to clients.
• Conduct software training both in-house and at client locations.
• Document workflows and operational procedures for clients.

Skills

Proficiency in scripting languages, preferably Python

Exceptional social, inter-cultural, communicative skills

Experience with hydrographic processing software

Comfort with RESTful API, SQL, JSON

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Hydrography, Geomatics, or related fields
