Job summary

ASICS, headquartered near Amsterdam, seeks a Wholesale Merchandising Manager to lead a geographically distributed team and drive commercial assortment decisions. You will translate strategy into execution, collaborate with Demand Planning, Sales, and Marketing, and influence revenue across UK, Nordics, and BeNeLux.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred; minimum Bachelor's or college degree in Merchandising, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of merchandising, buying, or commercial planning experience in a multi-channel retail environment.
• English fluency; Dutch/Swedish language skills are a nice-to-have.

Responsibilities

• Team Management & Development: lead a minimum of three Marketplace Merchandisers across UK, Nordics, BeNeLux; remote management and regular market travel.
• Assortment Strategy & Line Development: translate business strategy into commercial assortment direction in collaboration with Demand Planning.
• Seasonal Range Planning: provide market feedback and build seasonal range plans with awareness of market trends.
• Systems, Process & S&OP: improve processes, support S&OP, manage product assortment distribution and projects.
• Business Analysis & Reporting: develop clear reporting and extract commercial insights for leadership.
• Cross-Functional Bridge & Stakeholder Management: act as primary bridge between Regional Sales and EMEA Category; coordinate with Marketing.
