Job summary

Reaktor Amsterdam is seeking an experienced Senior Fullstack Developer to join one of our business units in Amsterdam.

You will work across modern web applications, backend services and production systems, collaborating with clients and our teams in a low-hierarchy environment to deliver high-impact software.

You'll contribute across the full delivery lifecycle, from implementation to testing, deployments and live operation, while shaping technology choices and delivery approaches.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in modern frontend development using TypeScript and React.
• Strong backend service development experience with Node.js, Java, Kotlin, or Python.
• Experience building and shipping production-grade digital products.
• Ability to work across the full delivery lifecycle from implementation to production operations.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, CI/CD, and deployments.
• Ability to work with clients and stakeholders in a senior, consultative role.
• Hands-on mindset with problem-solving and delivery ownership.
• Fluent English in speaking and writing for international collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve modern web applications, backend services, APIs, and data models.
• Work across frontend, backend, and infrastructure depending on project needs.
• Advise clients on technologies, architecture, and delivery approaches.
• Contribute to cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, deployments and production operations.
• Debug, test, monitor, and improve production systems.
• Collaborate with client tech teams, designers, and product stakeholders.
• Clarify ambiguous requirements and translate to working software.
• Take responsibility for delivery while supporting the team.
