Locus, a small Amsterdam-based team building property management software, is looking for a Python Developer. You will own pieces of work, collaborate with domain experts, and contribute to a lean codebase using Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and Redis with event sourcing and CQRS at its core.

You'll join a supportive team, with opportunities to grow, learn, and take ownership as your skills expand in this role based in Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Python experience with real projects and debugging.
• Familiarity with web app architecture, relational databases, and version control.
• Experience testing your code and contributing to a shared codebase.
• Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn new tools and concepts.
• Ability to communicate progress and collaborate with domain experts.

Responsabilités

• Develop Python features and the business logic behind them.
• Write maintainable code and domain-focused tests that validate business flows and document how they should work.
• Work with domain experts to validate features and iterate on their feedback.
• Explore a tool, technique, or concept and build a small proof of concept to test an idea.
• Take initiative to identify improvements and follow through on agreed actions.
• Join a team with diverse strengths and expand your expertise over time.
