Job summary

Foundation FSSC seeks a Legal Specialist to provide independent legal guidance, manage risk, and protect organizational interests in a hybrid work setting at the head office in ’s-Hertogenbosch.

You will review complex agreements, monitor regulatory changes, and coordinate with external advisors. The role emphasizes governance, IP protection, and alignment with EU and Dutch law, supporting strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in law, preferably with Dutch or EU law qualification.
• Around 5 years of experience as a Legal Specialist.
• Experience with Dutch Law, EU law, IP, contract and governance policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent practical legal advice to the Executive Board and internal stakeholders.
• Review documents and initiatives for legal and compliance implications.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial, supplier, partnership and licensing agreements; advise owners on risks.
• Support protection of FSSC's intellectual property.
• Identify, assess, document and monitor legal and compliance risks.
• Manage legal claims, disputes and other matters.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate into practical recommendations.
