Ahold Delhaize is seeking a Finance Senior Associate Opex to join the European Shared Services finance team. The role offers exposure to diverse accounting processes and opportunities to broaden expertise within a supportive environment.

You will handle general ledger postings, month-end activities, and accruals, while applying IFRS and local GAAP knowledge. A hybrid work setup includes part-time from home and three days in the Belgrade office.

Competenze

• Level IV qualification (secondary education) in Economics or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Good command of English (written and spoken).

Mansioni

• Prepare and post accounting entries in the GL.
• Post invoices and expenses to correct GL accounts.
• Apply cost centers and allocation methodologies.
• Review documents, tax treatment, and entry accuracy.
• Prepare and post accruals and prepayments.
• Perform account reconciliations and support month-end close.
• Understand IFRS/local GAAP; apply when relevant.
• Identify and resolve common accounting discrepancies.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
