Job summary

HR ProjectPartners BV in Schiedam, Netherlands, seeks an experienced EPLAN Specialist / Electrical Engineer to join the Naval Engineering team in a hybrid role. You will support engineers, manage EPLAN libraries, and drive standardization of EPLAN processes for advanced naval vessel electrical systems.

The role emphasizes hands-on electrical design, development of standards, and collaboration with Application Managers and other EPLAN users to improve engineering efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience with EPLAN Electric P8.
• Experience designing electrical installations in shipbuilding, marine, offshore, or industrial environments.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support and train EPLAN users across the engineering department.
• Manage and develop EPLAN libraries, macros, templates, and components.
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement of EPLAN processes.
• Coordinate with Application Managers and other EPLAN Key Users.
• Design electrical systems and schematics using EPLAN.
• Prepare technical specifications and support production and installation.
• Review and improve engineering data and documentation.
