Job summary

NN Group in The Hague is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to define and drive architectures for enterprise Data & AI products, platforms, and cloud-native solutions. You will lead engineers, influence architecture, and promote engineering excellence in NN's data-driven future.

You will bridge business needs with engineering, ensuring secure, scalable, and reusable solutions while aligning with NN’s technology direction.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in solution architecture or related fields
• Experience designing enterprise Data & AI solutions
• Proven track record delivering complex data/analytics/AI platforms
• Expert in Data & AI platforms, data products, Data Mesh, MLOps/AgentOps, data governance
• Strong Python, APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, DevSecOps, observability
• Cloud and platform engineering across Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD, cloud security
• Collaborative with architects and stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent Dutch and English preferred

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end architectures for Data & AI Products
• Translate business outcomes and product visions into scalable technical solutions
• Design integration patterns across Data Governance, Data Engineering, AI Engineering, and BI domains
• Ensure data products are reusable, discoverable, secure, and aligned with governance standards
• Lead ADRs and design reviews per enterprise architecture principles
• Act as trusted advisor to Product Managers, Owners, Eng Managers, and dev teams
