Job summary

Vattenfall is seeking a Business Analyst TPM in Amsterdam to connect trading activities, settlements, data and IT, translating complex market processes into reliable, scalable business operations.

You will shape the TPM operating model while collaborating across Trading, Portfolio Management, Forecasting, Risk, Finance, Operations and IT in a hybrid work environment with 50% office presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Management or a related field.
• Experience in business analysis, process improvement or operational environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Affinity with energy markets, commodity trading, financial processes or complex value chains.
• Experience with Excel; Power BI, SQL and/or Python is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Analyse portfolio positions, allocations, settlements, forecasts and other energy market related data.
• Identify operational risks, process inefficiencies and improvement opportunities across end-to-end processes.
• Perform root cause analyses and coordinate the implementation of sustainable solutions.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for process and system improvements.
• Support projects related to new products, regulatory changes, market developments and operational improvements.
• Participate in solution design, testing and implementation of business and system changes.
• Collaborate closely with Trading, Portfolio Management, Forecasting, Risk, Finance, Operations and IT teams.
• Improve data quality, process controls and operational governance.
• Contribute to automation, standardisation and scalability initiatives within TPM.
