Job summary

Cboe Global Markets is building out a data engineering capability in Amsterdam. The role focuses on developing and operating data pipelines using Airflow, PySpark and Python to support post-trade data processing and reporting.

You will collaborate with analysts, DBAs, and ops teams in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Based in Amsterdam, you will contribute to data governance and data quality initiatives while leveraging modern tooling such as Snowflake and AI-assisted software engineering

Qualifications

• Seasoned data engineer with experience building and troubleshooting data pipelines for business-critical systems.
• Open-minded with a can-do attitude and collaborative mindset.
• Experience with AI-assisted software engineering approaches.
• Experience in Data Governance and Data Quality Management within regulated environments.
• Prior exposure to the financial industry and related regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Modify data pipelines to meet important business or regulatory requirements (e.g., historical price data, regulatory reporting).
• Ensure data quality in data flows with monitoring and alerting for quality issues.
• Define and gradually move toward the target architecture for data systems.
• Support business analysts, database experts and operations teams with data engineering expertise.
