Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Credit Analyst to join our client’s hybrid team in Welkom. You will evaluate borrower risk, analyze financial statements, and prepare reports for loan committees while monitoring portfolios and ensuring compliance with policies.

The role requires 2–4 years of credit analysis experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel and credit analysis software. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in credit analysis, lending, or a related financial role.
• Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, risk assessment, and credit scoring techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with credit analysis software.
• Strong communication and report-writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to assess borrower risk.
• Prepare comprehensive credit reports and present findings and recommendations to loan committees.
• Monitor existing loan portfolios, identifying potential risks and proactively managing exposures.
• Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of credit markets, economic conditions, and industry trends.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients.
