Job summary

A leading company in e-commerce is looking for a Database Automation Engineer to join their innovative team in Rotterdam. This role involves supporting and enhancing cloud infrastructure through automation and streamlining development processes with a strong emphasis on Python and AWS integration. You will contribute to projects that enhance operational efficiency and work with a diverse international team.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS, preferably with Solutions Architect Associate certification.
• Knowledge of Oracle 19c and Oracle Database Certification is advantageous.
• Experience with AWS Aurora or other RDS databases is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Writing serverless applications in Python that create daily backups to S3.
• Optimizing problematic SQL statements in collaboration with developers.
• Automating continuous delivery pipelines using Python.
