Qualifications
Understanding of Cloud Landing Zones and the Cloud Adoption Framework.
Understanding of and experience with Azure RBAC, Policy and Monitor.
Experience with scripting in PowerShell (bash with AC CLI is a bonus).
Experience with Azure DevOps, especially YAML pipelines.
Experience with Configuration Management (Chef, Ansible, PS DSC).
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform).
Understanding of Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and its inter-dependencies with Azure.
Experience supporting and managing traditional on-premises environments.
Responsibilities
Design cloud solution architectures for migrations and green-field deployments.
Drive the migrations of on-premises workloads to Azure.
Develop reusable artifacts, such as Infrastructure-as-Code templates, scripts, and CI/CD pipelines.
Create solutions for operational excellence, such as monitoring, logging, and configuration management.
Deploy commercial-off-the-shelf and custom-built applications through CI/CD pipelines.
Implement technical improvements, cost optimization, code reviews, and lifecycle management.
Troubleshoot operational issues such as service interruptions, performance degradation, etc.
Automate every aspect of repetitive work.
